one group have recently arrived by a large boat, and appear to be interested in the ancient ruins on the isle.
While the other seem indigenous to the the isle, descendants perhaps of the ones who built the ruins in the first place.
After questioning the two, they let them go, and take their friends home.
In the night they were set upon by the beast who awoke them in the night.
Foolishly they party banded together to fight the monstrous creature only to find it was too strong even for their mighty attacks.
Forced to flee, they left the bodies of Runar’s dog, and River behind.
The creature seemed to feed on the wounds of its victims healing as it strikes with its claws.
Upon reaching home the party rested, and inquired to Eli of the creatures origins.
Eli explains the Beast probably tracked them via the axe to took from the cannibal’s camp.
The party tries and destroys it, but find that only by sacrificing some of their friends can they destroy the axe, and the beast along with it. None are willing enough to part with it, and the decision to toss the axe into the ocean comes quickly.
Assaulted by an Air Elemental, the party barley avoids death, as they seek shelter in the imp’s cave.
Killing the imp’s friends the party find them selves hunting an invisible enemy, and instead leave him to head towards the swamp.
